THE WALT DISNEY Company Indonesia today announced a collaboration with Indonesia’s band, Payung Teduh, to bring an original single, Sebuah Lagu, inspired by the upcoming Disney’s Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It-Ralph 2

Exclusively for Indonesia and Malaysia audiences, a special music video will be featured at the end-credit title of the movie which will be available across Indonesia and Malaysia cinemas.

“We are excited to announce our collaboration with Payung Teduh to bring “Sebuah Lagu”, it is the first Disney’s movie inspired original single composed by Indonesian and it is the first collaboration of its kind in Southeast Asia,” explained Herry Salim,
Country Head, Disney Indonesia. “Through such collaborations, we aim to bring engaging and relatable content that also showcases great local talent whilst inspiring local creative industry.”

Composed by Alejandro Saksakame, the song will be a part of Disney’s Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It-Ralph 2 soundtrack album and will be available on digital streaming platforms from 16 November 2018 onwards.

Sebuah Lagu will be performed with special formation of six, consisting of Alejandro Saksakame, Comi Aziz Kariko, Ivan Penwyn, Marsya Ditia, Taufiq, and Pandji Putranda.

“We are extremely proud and excited to collaborate with Disney. We are inspired by the connection and friendship of Ralph and Vanellope, despite all odds and situation, they stay for one another. We hope audiences will enjoy “Sebuah Lagu”, as much as we love the song,” explained Alejandro Saksakame.

Directed by Rich Moore and Phil Johnston, produced by Clark Spencer and featuring the voices of John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Gal Gadot and Taraji P. Henson “Disney’s Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It-Ralph 2” hits Malaysia cinemas on Nov 22, and Indonesia cinemas on Nov 23.

In Ralph Breaks the Internet, video-game bad guy Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly) and best friend Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sarah Silverman) leave the comforts of Litwak’s arcade in an attempt to save her game, Sugar Rush. Their quest takes them to the vast, uncharted world of the internet where they rely on the citizens of the internet—the Netizens—to help navigate their way.

Lending a virtual hand are Yesss (voice of Taraji P. Henson), the head algorithm and the heart and soul of the trend-making site “BuzzzTube,” and Shank (voice of Gal Gadot), a tough-as-nails driver from a gritty online auto-racing game called Slaughter Race, a place Vanellope wholeheartedly embraces—so much so that Ralph worries he may lose the only friend he’s ever had.
