Scandals abound when new Japanese political thriller, House Of The Owl debuts April 24 Exclusively On Disney+ Hotstar


STEP into a world of salacious scandals, family feuds, back-alley dealings and high stakes games when intense political thriller, House of the Owl launches April 24, exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar.

Set in modern-day Japan, House of the Owl follows the country’s most powerful puppet master, Ryutaro Ogami aka 'the Owl', as he manipulates politicians, businessmen, the media and more to achieve his goals.

Able to guide the country’s leaders through scandals that would ruin others, the Owl is able to control every outcome except for when it comes to his headstrong family. With unseen forces pulling the puppet master’s strings, will the Owl be cunning enough to maintain his grasp on the country or will he lose at his own game?

Starring Min Tanaka (47 Ronin, Perfect Days) as manipulative puppet master Ryutaro Ogami, aka the Owl, and Mackenyu (Dragons of Wonderhatch, One Piece) as the Owl’s ambitious son Ryu Ogami, House of the Owl is written and executive produced by David Shin and is directed by Yoshitaka Mori (Space Brothers, Sihiri no Seishun).
