COME ENJOY A FUN DAY AT THE LARGEST FUTSAL FIESTA


DIGI Telecommunications Sdn Bhd (Digi) together with partners Vivo, Great Eastern Life Malaysia, Etika, Puma and Era invite all Malaysian to come and join in the fun to watch the best of the best Malaysian teams battle it out on the court and to witness the crowning of the Raja Futsal of Malaysia team at the nation’s largest futsal fiesta.

To be held at Kompleks Sukan Negara Panasonic, Shah Alam on 10 November 2018 (Saturday) from 9am to 7pm, the grand finale is a culmination of over 3-month search which started in July earlier this year. 

32 finalists from around the country will compete in a bid to take home the grand prize of RM100,000, the biggest cash prize offered for a futsal competition to date. In total, we had over 860 teams with over 5,000 players from 13 states and Wilayah Persekutuan.


Fun-filled Fiesta

The finale event is going to be a day filled with Futsal, Fashion, Fiesta and Food which will be opened to the public with activities lined up for everyone. Not only can the visitors join in the fiesta fun but they will get a chance to win up to RM30,000 worth of prizes by just registering their attendance at www.rajafutsalmy.com to be eligible for lucky draw. 

There will be a local brand bazaar by Propagandafest and Loka Malaysa as well as food trucks for the hungry crowd. Gamers can join in the fun at the FIFA PS4 Fastest Goal 2018 Challenge and a drone showcase and workshop. 

Celebrities such as Aizat Amdan, Caprice & Giler Battle Crew and Genji Busker will be making appearances and perform on the Digi Stage throughout the day. Visitors will be also entertained with Rahim Sepahtu and Zero antics in the special Superlawak FC exhibition match.  

Amongst other activities that are available is the penalty shootout challenge where visitors can test their kicking skills and the chance to join a coaching clinic by sports icons such as Safee Sali, a Malaysian national team player who also plays for Malaysia Super League club PKNS. 

Other football personalities such as Normala Yusoff, the current PDRM futsal coach and Siti Suhaila, former Selangor futsal coach will also be present to share some tips and tricks of the game. 

Visitors should not miss the many exciting activities at Digi’s booth located at the fiesta area such as a mobile and arcade games challenge, buskers and band performances. To ensure that all visitors stay connected at the event, there will also be a mobile device charging and WiFi zone to keep them connected throughout the day. Digi customers can also find out more about Digi’s Box of Surprises’ offerings at the booth. 

Families with children will not be left out as there will also be a Kids Playzone with activities such as an inflatable playground and carnival games for them to participate in. Rounding up the list of activities are various engagement booths by the partners present at the event such as Vivo, Great Eastern Life Malaysia, Goodday, Puma and ERA.
