THE ASIAN Academy Creative Award goes to Jihan! Jihan Musa, a leading Malaysian actress has just won the award for Best Comedy Performance for her role as Kesuma in Viu’s Original Series, Keluarga Baha Don at the Asian Academy Creative Awards Gala held on Friday, December 6, 2019 at Victoria Theatre, Singapore.
Jihan had previously won Best Comedy Performance for Malaysia in the regional round of the Asian Academy Creative Awards held in October in Cannes, France. Being the regional winner qualified her to represent Malaysia to compete with talents from other markets at the final round of the Asian Academy Creative Awards. Keluarga Baha Don also picked up the Asian Academy Creative Award for Best Comedy Programme in both the regional and final rounds.
Viu, a leading pan-regional OTT video service with more than 36 million monthly active users (MAU), won 12 awards at the regional round of the 2019 Asian Academy Creative Awards, half of which were awarded to Viu Malaysia.
