MALAYSIA hip-hop sensation Zamaera, announced her first EP, “Z” with an intimate performance, live in surround sound. Guests who gathered at TGV 1 Utama were the first to witness this showcase in LFx (Lakefront Xperience).
Zamaera also revealed her plans for a nationwide tour in LFx at selected TGV Cinemas across four states between the months of April and May 2019.
“Z” will make its worldwide debut on March 29th, with pre-orders available from March 15th. The EP displays her growth as an artist through four full length tracks, “Z vs Z”, “Truth”, “KMS” and “Almost”. Guided by her label, Lakefront Records, Zamaera was paired with award-winning, 14-time Billboard charting producer and pianist Floyd ‘Timeless’ Thomas.
Accompanying the full EP is an exclusive documentary dubbed “The Chicago Sessions” leading viewers through the recording process of “Z” which also features the string driven ensemble Matt Jones Orchestra. A rare talent, Zamaera writes all her own lyrics, raps effortlessly, and exhibits her vocals in the entirety of “Z”.
Charting her journey in-between fierce bars and soulful composition, “Z” documents emotion, revelations and vulnerability. Setting herself apart with the ability to tell an intricate story in a matter of minutes, Zamaera explores the universal themes of change and love; confronting them with introspection, empathy and confidence.
On its release, “Z vs Z” earned a premiere feature and exclusive on HipHopDX, one of the worlds largest and most reputed online hip hop magazines. To date the single has surpassed half a million streams and counting.

Just like this live EP performance in LFx, we want to create immersive experiences for the listeners. Above all else, I couldn’t have possibly done this without the contribution of my amazing team who turned this EP into a reality,” says Zamaera.
Zamaera’s Nationwide Tour
Zamaera is the first (ever in the world) to tour in a brand new format - LFx. Concerts in LFx features the artist in a perfectly calibrated environment, permitting the artist to perform live in 7.1 surround sound with visual accompaniment. The nationwide tour is made possible with the exclusive partnership between TGV Cinemas and Lakefront Records to bring LFx technology to life.
Zamaera’s hour-long concert will feature tracks from her new EP - “Z”, and not forgetting her singles such as “Still Callin”, and the track which got it all started, “Helly Kelly”. The live concert experience is intended to be raw, fluid and heartfelt with sound designed specifically to envelope concert goers and make their experience richer. Coupled with larger-than-life visuals, Zamaera is confident that each concert will leave the audience wanting more.
More details will be released as the dates draw closer, but it is certain that the tour will travel to TGV Cinemas in Johor Bahru, Penang, Miri with the first concert in Kuala Lumpur.
