THE JBL Rising Star Singing Competition 2018, which started in March 2018, has come to its finale. Top Ten talented contestants will be competing at the finale that will be held at Vanity Atrium, Sunway Velocity Mall on 23rd June 2018, Saturday.
Besides contending for the grand prizes, the top ten contestants also stand the chance take home “The Most Popular Online Award” and “Best Performance Award”.
Offering prizes that are worth up to RM 100,000, the singing competition has been receiving positive response since it started. More than 800 talented individuals aged between 16 to 30 years old signed up for the competition.
It was a stiff competition between the contestants before the top ten were selected. The winner will receive a total of RM50,000, including cash prize of RM8,000 and JBL products. Besides the grand prizes, the winner will automatically be elected as the ambassador for JBL Rising Star.
The top ten finalists are Charlotte Ardelle Felix, Clinton Chua Han Yong, Dennis Ooi Wen Xian, Faysal Bin Md Saad, IIham Mudzaffar bin Abd Mutek, Karyn Ong Kai Lin, Lee Kar Yee, Nurul Ashikin Binti Rosnan, Vanessa Van Huizen, and Vishal A/L Gopinathan.
JBL Rising Star Singing Competition 2018 is organized by Hot Gadgets Distribution Sdn Bhd; the sole distributor of JBL in Malaysia. The contestants were chosen by professionals. The panel of judges include Hanz Guo Wen Han, a well-known singer, songwriter and music producer; Jenn Chia, a YouTuber, singer and songwriter; Hael Husaini, a reputable local singer who is known for his song, ‘Jampi’.

JBL Concert Run 2018: Calling All Fun Run Runners
Fun run enthusiasts should not miss the JBL Concert Run 2018 that will be held at Surf Beach, Sunway Lagoon on 15th September 2018, Saturday. The fun run, which organized by Hot Gadgets, will begin at 7pm and comprises of sports, fun, and music all together.
Participants will have to complete approximately 5KM distance fun run and would enjoying the live concert at the surf beach.
The runners will go through five different thematic zones; Rock Stage, Pop Warrior Obstacle, Safari Music Zone, Techno Tunnel, and Jazz Lazy River. The zones are the set to give runners great excitement as they overcome different challenges that have been set.
Prominent local singers like Hael Husaini and Joe Flizzow will be performing at the concert that will begin at 9pm. They will also be joined by a well-known Hong Kong celebrity, Hubert Wu. Besides great performances, the participants will also get to take part in lucky draws to walk away with prizes worth RM 150,000. According to Hot Gadgets spokesperson, Jeff Chin, it will be a night to remember.
Another good news is that the buy 2-free-1 package, which supposedly ends on 22nd June 2018, has been extended till 30th June 2018. There will be individual and family packages offered too. Each participant will receive door gift from the organizer, including running shirt, medals and JBL C100SI In-Ear Headphones worth RM69.90 (for adults) and JBL JR300 Kids On-Ear Headphones worth RM121 (for children), respectively.
