LEGOLAND MALAYSIA RESORT BRINGS WINTER WONDERLAND TO MALAYSIA


LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort will be transformed into a snowy Brick-Tacular Winter Wonderland with exciting and exclusive surprises lined up every day throughout the month of December. This year, the park’s Winter Wonderland experience will also be bringing real snowfall to Malaysia happening every half hour in front of Big Shop making it the most unique celebration in Malaysia this festive season. 

Guests will be welcomed by an arctic LEGO experience throughout the park including Malaysia’s first igloo ice-cream bar, where they can enjoy a cold treat and hang around with LEGO reindeers and elves.

In the spirit of giving, Legoland Malaysia Resort will be giving away RM100,000 worth of prizes as part of the daily LEGO Advent Calendar Draw to a lucky guest and a Nissan Almera (worth RM72,000) to a lucky Annual Pass holder on the 25th of December*. 

Aside from the chilly Winter Wonderland experiences and decorations, families will find the park bustling with fun and rewarding holiday-themed activities around the park including:-

LEGO Advent Calendar Draw – The advent calendar will feature 31 windows, one for each day of December. Every day, one lucky guest has a chance to open one window at 7pm and win some fantastic present. This year’s impressive prize line-up, worth up to RM100,000 includes a family vacation, petrol vouchers, fantastic LEGO boxes including the incredibly popular LEGO Star Wars and, NINJAG. 

Festive LEGO Building Activities – Kids can learn to build their own LEGO snowman and Christmas tree decorations. The decorations that they designed will be hung on the trees around the park. During these building sessions, helpful elves and Eskimos will lend a helping hand where they will help guests to build unique LEGO design. These building activities are designed to ensure that children not only have fun while playing but also develop new skills such as teamwork and their creativity. 

LEGO Santa’s Grotto – Christmas won’t be complete without presents and getting on Santa’s nice list. At Santa’s Grotto, there will be a meet and greet session. On top of that, kids can submit a letter to share their Christmas wish list with Santa and secure the best spot on his naughty and nice list. 

Jingle Bell Ball – Guests are invited to join the Legoland Malaysia Resort Jingle Bell Ball where they can party and dance with all the elves! There may even be a special appearance from beloved characters such as Rudolf, Ollie The Dragon and the LEGO Toy Soldier.  


Legoland Malaysia Resort will be continuing its yearly tradition of lighting up Southeast Asia’s tallest Duplo LEGO Christmas tree, made of 427,695 blocks. There will also be a big sing-a-long of famous Christmas songs to get everyone into the holiday spirit. 

To end the holiday celebration and welcome the New Year, the park skies will be lit up with a spectacular 3D LEGO fireworks where guests will experience fireworks with a twist – of LEGO bricks falling from the skies.

“December is a very special month for us at Legoland Malaysia Resort and this year, we will be hosting our biggest Brick-Tacular Holidays yet. During this festive season, the park will be transformed into a winter wonderland, perfect for parents and their kids to experience a unique Christmas during the year-end school holiday,” said Kurt Stocks, General Manager at Legoland Malaysia Resort.
“In the spirit of giving and sharing, we have also listened to all feedback throughout the year and made necessary enhancements to our theme park. We have upgraded the Build and Test area with a brand new race track, and introduced more shades and giant fans to provide a more comfortable experience for families. We are always looking at innovative ways to help families create new and memorable moments each time they are at our park,” Stock continues.
